INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Applications for the 2024 Festival are closed.
Please stay tuned for information regarding 2025!

Our Interns work closely with the Executive Director and Festival Manager to support all events and activities of our 9-day music festival. Interns get hands-on experience producing and managing a music festival and learn about arts administration and chamber music from the inside. The Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival has been proud to welcome interns from local colleges, universities, and from around the country.

We are always looking for new applicants for our summer internship program. We are looking for someone who can work independently and as part of a team and is interested in learning about arts administration and chamber music. Prior experience with classical music and event production is desirable.  This is primarily an administrative position, with interns reporting to the Festival Senior Staff.

For 2024, this is a full-time internship from Thursday, August 15, to Monday, August 26, 2024. A small stipend is provided upon completion. Exact hours will be determined in consultation with the Festival Senior Staff. Throughout the internship, time will be spent preparing for the festival, training in general arts management and organizational procedures, and supporting festival events.

As an intern with the Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival, you should have excellent communication and organizational skills, combined with a can-do attitude and welcoming manner.

We believe that internships are mutually beneficial relationships.
